CARROLLTON, TX - The Hebron Varsity Boys Golf Team captured the 2008 District Championship held April 7-8 at Indian Creek GC. Firing rounds of 291-295 for a total of 586, the Hawks golf team blew away the nearest competition by 26 strokes. Kyle Fouts claimed the Individual Title with stellar rounds of 67-70. Since Hebron HS opened in 1999, this makes the 5th District Boys Championship. Below are the individual scores for Hebron:

-Raine Copeland* 69-75 = 145 3rd Place
-Luke Kwon* 74-77 = 151 6th place
-Tucker Swearengen* 78-74 = 152 7th place

CARROLLTON, TX - Hebron Junior Kyle Fouts proved he has game. Like big time game. Like 7 under tournament game. Fouts fired rounds of 67-70 at the District 6-5A Boys Golf Tournament to claim 1st place. And by a long shot....like 6 shots.
"Kyle has always had tremendous potential and a hard worker. I am glad to see that he has finally arrived to play with the Big Boys" said Coach Corey Coursey. "With the unfortunate early departure of Sang[Yi], Kyle has proved to be the equal replacement. Let's hope that all goes well at Regionals in 2 weeks."
Coppell placed 2nd as a team with 610 total and FM Marcus was 3rd with 615. Marcus' Jermey LeGuin placed 2nd in Medalist play with a 143 total. RL Turner's Kasey Nelson will also represent Dist 6-5A as a Medalist at the Regional Golf Tournament.
The Hebron Boys and Fouts will travel to Lubbock to compete in the Region I-5A Golf Tournament to be held April 23-24 at The Rawls Course on Texas Tech University .
